How you can make a difference in Monton – in just 1 hour a week

Monton Village Community Association is run by residents of Monton, as we want to make – and keep – Monton a great village to live in. To provide a nice environment for our children, a village with traditional values, and events for families – and let's be honest: a chance to do something to maintain our property values!

FROPS - Friends of Patricroft Station

FROPS work with Norther Rail to improve the standard of Patricroft Station. Click   FROPS repairs  Northern and Network Rail combined resources to complete a tidy up day as part of the Alliancing/Route 28 project. This presentation includes some of the pictures from the work undertaken on the 25^th April 2012. The  teams worked on areas both inside and outside the station lease.

FROPS have worked very hard to improve the station in other ways with flowering tubs, doing the garden areas and regular litter picks.

MVCA's meetings have changed days

Monton Village Community Association have changed the day of their meetings to the last Tuesday of the month. This is primarily to facilitate attendance by more businesses from Monton as late night opening for many shops made Thursday difficult for businesses to attend meetings. Current minutes can be found under About Monton on this website.
